Session 1 : Raw Emotions (90 minutes)
Start with an exercise to help you express your vulnerable thoughts and feelings
Openly and expressively finger paint the background of your painting
Session 2 : Understanding Control (90 minutes)
Brainstorm and learn about what you do and don’t have control over in relation to your grieving
Paint (with a brush) the edges and frame of your painting
Session 3 : Gratitude (90 minutes)
Learn techniques to practice gratitude and mindfulness
Paint (with a brush) the smaller canvas and attach artificial flower
Session 4 (Optional Add On) : Personal Embellishment (30 minutes)
Bring an item to artistically place on your finished piece
