What to Expect During Each Private Session

Session 1 : Raw Emotions (90 minutes)

  • Comfortable exercise to help you express your vulnerable thoughts and feelings

  • Artistically finger paint the background of your painting

Session 2 : Understanding Control (90 minutes)

  • Explore what you do and do not have control over in your grieving

  • Paint (with a brush) the edges and frame of your painting

Session 3 : Gratitude (90 minutes)

  • Learn techniques to practice gratitude and mindfulness

  • Paint (with a brush) the smaller canvas and attach artificial flower(s)

Session 4 (Optional Add-On) : Personal Embellishment (30 minutes)

  • Bring an item to artistically place on your finished piece

  • I encourage this item to be meaningful to you/your loved one who has passed
